Race Day & Course Information

The map below shows the start/finish line for the Mississippi Blues Marathon & Half-Marathon as well as restaurants and hotels in the immediate area. The start/finish line will be located in front of the beautiful Old State Capitol, where Capitol Street meets State Street. Click the image to download a printable PDF of the map.

Relay Information

Relay teams will be handing off a timing chip. Be sure you have an ankle strap for your chip at check-in. Please do not zip-tie the chip to your shoe.

Handoff locations:

• 5 mile mark:

  Meadowbrook Shopping Center, Meadowbrook Rd. - plenty of parking on-site

• 10 mile mark:

  Ridgewood Rd. & Reddoch Dr., north of Old Canton Rd. - residential area with limited parking.

• 15 mile mark:

  R&D/Universities Center between Ridgewood Rd. and Eastover Dr. - plenty of parking. Park across the median from the course.

• 20 mile mark:

  Belhaven University campus/Eudora Welty House on Pinehurst St. - plenty of parking on Belhaven campus. Please do not park on side streets or Pinehurst.
